I started this blog as a way to showcase the various projects I'm working on. The name Dirty Knits comes from the fact that I'm using recycled jersey knit items [tees, tanks, leggings...etc.] I've always been a fan of reconstruction, especially with tee shirts. I started to slash, shred, dye, sew, print, and braid old tee shirts for myself in high school and eventually began making them for my friends. I could do it forever, and if this venture is successful, I might get to!!
On this site you'll be able to see personal projects [both for myself and for sale] as well as commissioned projects. Sale information will be posted and a link to my etsy site[once I make one] will also be available.
